Managing Capital Member
Ruben Aponte-Mellado
Mr. Aponte-Mellado began his career as a lawyer and as a business entrepreneur simultaneously. During those years he represented several clients in corporate matters and in damages claims. Additionally, he collaborated with a renewable energy startup.
After that, in search of learning and experience, Mr. Aponte worked in two law firms on the Golden Mile. In both, Mr. Aponte excelled in commercial financing matters, commercial transactions, debt restructuring, corporate matters, commercial litigation and mortgage foreclosures.
More recently, Mr. Aponte led the legal department of an investment fund and was part of a law firm focused on real estate transactions and banking matters.
As a law student, Mr. Aponte worked in the legal department of two financial institutions in Puerto Rico and in Spain. He was also an assistant professor of corporate and banking law. Additionally, he was a member of the founding team of the first corporate law clinic in Puerto Rico.
The lawyer Aponte has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Adriel del Río-Trinidad
Mr. Del Río has worked as a practicing attorney for more than 7 years. Prior to the creation of the Firm, Del Río worked as a corporate attorney at a well-known law firm located on the Golden Mile in Hato Rey. During that time frame, Mr. Del Río led the foreclosed property and judicial sales departments. Among his areas of expertise are the following: corporate transactions, sale and execution of real estate, commercial financing, all types of notarial services, drafting and review of contracts, resolution of matters in the Property Registry, eviction cases, all types of transactions related to real estate such as mortgages, leases, segregations, among others. Furthermore, Mr. Del Río worked as a litigation counsel for different public agencies, to which he provided services such as: filing of lawsuits for non-compliance with agency regulations, evaluation of reports and drafting of notifications of findings, evaluation of auctions and preparation of motions in response to auction challenges and provide educational talks to agency employees on different legal aspects.
